So many of us have dreams of breaking out of the daily grind. The monotony of life can be exhausting. Sometimes breaking the silence of the doldrums can actually come from working towards a goal, a dream or fulfilling a life long desire to do something we truly want to do. What prevents us from moving forward? Sometimes getting started can come from just knowing someone is there to help you along the way. Most of us have a skill or talent we can share. Many of us have a skill or talent we can market and bring about not only the satisfaction of others knowing about that skill or talent, but also a financial reward. Robynn and I are in the business of helping others realize their dreams by assisting in business startups, bookkeeping and tax reporting responsibilities. We love to do our work and love when others know about it. Additionally, we are modestly compensated for what we do as well. My dream began in February 2014 when we sold our retail business as we were facing walls we couldn’t see over. I had the idea of Farsight Bookkeeping after we locked the door of our leased building for the last time. A few friends supported me by graciously allowing me to prepare their income taxes. I took a public sector job and tax preparation for myself and a few friends is all I did until the fall of 2019. One of my tax clients wanted to form a new business and asked for help. He said he would fairly compensate me and I agreed to help. He referred another person he knew, and another, then that person referred another and we began to grow. Our growth has been amazing throughout 2021, and now in 2022 my phone is ringing very regularly. I have assisted many new business people in their startup and retained many for day to day and month to month bookkeeping services. I am proud to announce we have officially created a full time job in Campbell County. I plan to grow even more.

So you see, my dream and vision has not only come to pass but continues to amaze me by the success and growth I enjoy. Stated plainly: my vision and goals are very similar to yours.
